Randolph College Book Award | The Randolph College Book Award is given to a high school junior who is academically strong and a leader outside the classroom. Any student who receives the Randolph College Book Award is automatically considered for a merit scholarship or at least $5000 per year is he/she applies and is accepted for admission to the College.

Wellesley Book Award | The Wellesley Book Award is from a women’s college with a history of academic excellence and a concern for women’s education. The award is given to a female student in the junior class who has shown herself to be an outstanding student and an active participant in her community. |
Druid Hills Book Award | Druid Hills presents this book award to a high school junior who has displayed scholastic achievement, and who has made significant contributions to his or her school and local community through leadership, creativity, and/or multi-cultural awareness. This award is presented in recognition of community service and of commitment to making a positive impact on people each and every day. |
Sherry Hatcher Social Studies Book Award | Sherry Hatcher is a graduate of Druid Hills who returned to teach here for her entire 30-year career. Upon her retirement in 1997, the Awards Committee established this honor to recognize her lifetime commitment to Druid Hills and her love of social studies. The recipient is a junior who has demonstrated excellence and passion in the social studies. |
Rensselaer Math Award | The Mathematics Department presents the Renssaelaer Award to the most accomplished mathematician in the junior class. The purpose of this honor is to recognize the superlative academic achievement of young men and women, and to motivate students toward careers in science, engineering, and technology. |
Sug Cheatwood Math Award | This award is given in honor of Sug Cheatwood, a former Druid Hills math teacher and department chairperson. This honor is presented to an outstanding mathematician in the Junior Class who has demonstrated a passion for mathematical understanding and has shown excellence in mathematical scholarship and achievement. |
Mary Mecom English Award | This award is given in memory of Mary Mecom, a former English teacher at Druid Hills High School to honor a student who has overcome struggle, has shown improvement, has leadership potential and is willing to challenge herself/himself to "think outside the box.” |
Bausch & Lomb - Science/Math Award | The Science Department presents the Bausch & Lomb award to the most outstanding science student in the Junior Class. |
Phyllis Rawlins Science Award | This award is presented in memory of Phyllis Rawlins, who was an outstanding science teacher and department chairperson at Druid Hills High School. The Phyllis Rawlins Science Award goes to honor a junior with the following qualities: 1- outstanding character and personal integrity 2- outstanding achievement in 3 science classes at Druid Hills 3- an interest in pursuing a science career |
Discipula Optima Maxima World Language Award (female) or Discipulus Optimus Maximus Award (male) | The World Language Department presents this award to the most outstanding linguist in the junior or senior class. The recipient must show a keen cross-cultural awareness. In addition, he/she must demonstrate a passion and ability to both write and speak various languages. |
The Principal's Awards | The principal selects a student or students that he feels are well rounded, involved in school activities, focused on academics, and are caring individuals. |
