Senior Honors Day/Pre-Commencement Ceremony

We will be acknowledging student accomplishments during this year's first pre-commencement honor's ceremony. To be sure we capture all relevant information, please add it by completing this form and attach any relevant documentation. This includes scholarships and/or grants awarded, or community awards/recognitions/honors. Acknowledgements will be based on academic, athletic, or community achievements. Pre-Commencement will be held in the Gym on Saturday May 19th, 2018 at 2:00pm. Please attend with your family and come in your Cap & Gown!

Travel to the Commencement Ceremony at the GWCC

The transportation form, media release form and parking map are below. Students received a copy from one of their teachers, and the front office can offer a copy if it's been misplaced. Please return Transportation and Media release form to the front office no later than April 23rd, 2018. This is mandatory for ALL graduating studentsUnless students are opting out of riding the coach line altogether (the last option), they should indicate two options for how they are getting to and from the ceremony so that we have an accurate count of buses.  Permission slips can be provided in Bengali, Arabic, Amharic, Burmese, Swahili, Somali, Telugu, Vietnamese, Tigrinya, Nepali, French, Chinese, Hindi, Karen, and Spanish, upon request. Please email Mrs. Radcliff for a translated version.

PARKING INFORMATION

Early bird parking tickets are $10 with a $1.30 fee, if purchased prior to the day of your visit.  

The parking fee without a pre-purchased ticket is $15.

GWCC has also designated the entrance near West Plaza on Northside Drive as a feasible drop-off location for persons with limited walking abilities and persons with wheelchair accessibility requirements, if needed (see GWCC map).  Click here to read any FAQs about the graduation.
