National Art Honor Society

 Sponsors: Mrs. Allen and Ms. Shiver
 
National Art Honor Society seeks to cultivate creative leaders and recognize excellence in visual art. NAHS hosts workshops, participates in service projects, takes field trips and offers portfolio development to build artistic community and awareness. 

Meetings: we usually meet once a month. We rotate meetings in various art rooms.

National Honor Society

Sponsor: Ms. Farris Lewis

NHS was formed to honor and recognize excellence as well as provide service to the school and community. Juniors and seniors who have a 3.80 grade point average or higher and have attended Druid Hills High School for one semester will be invited to apply. In order to quality for membership, one must have good character, leadership and service skills that will improve the club positively. Students who have spent any time in OSS during 10th/11th/12th grade are ineligible to apply.

Dues: $20.00 per year.

Spanish Club

Sponsor: Sra. Valdez

The Spanish Club provides a place for people who are currently taking Spanish or will be, and are also interested in the Hispanic culture, meet and be part of activities to fulfill these interests. Through annual activities such as building a Homecoming float, celebration of Spanish holidays such as: Los Dios De Los Muertos, Spanish style Christmas and Valentine's Day. The Spanish club enriches the student's knowledge of Spanish culture beyond that achievable through basic language classes. The students regularly have outings to Mexican restaurants such as"Los Loros" and other Hispanic restaurants.

SGA

The SGA is comprised of class presidents, senators and committee chairs. Elections for officers are held in April or May. Candidates must complete eligibility forms showing they meet grade and discipline requirements and submit teacher recommendations.

Technology Student Association

Sponsor: Mr. Miller

The Georgia Technology Student Association (TSA) is committed to providing students with opportunities to excel and advance. The Georgia Technology Student Association strives to meet and exceed the expectations of its membership. Two diverse groups, chosen by their peers, make up our State Officer team and Advisory Council. These two groups are charged with planning, organizing, and participating in GA TSA yearly activities. Anyone can join.

Meetings: TSA meets every Monday & Thursdays at 3:20pm-4:20pm in room 515C
