Digital Dreamers - Chromebook update

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I apologize for the delay in our Chromebook distribution process.  The district has reinstated the $20 insurance fee instead of having families financially responsible for the $300 replacement cost of the Chromebook.  This is great news!

All students must have a signed contract, also sign the digital citizenship form and submit the $20 insurance payment prior to receiving their Chromebook.  Students who have already received Chromebook using the first contract (with the $300 replacement cost) need to resubmit the new contract and make the $20 insurance payment.

The insurance payment may be made in cash or check at the school, payable to Druid Hills High School, and Mr. Alexander will collect those payments.  You may also make insurance payment online at  https://www.insureappleiphone.com/dekalb

Students will receive a copy of the new contract this week, and I have also attached a copy of that contract to review, print, and sign if needed.

Mr. Alexander is our administrator over this project.  Please contact him via email with questions. [email protected]

We are looking forward to expediting the distribution process, and I appreciate your continued patience as we roll-out this program.

Sincerely,

Mark Joyner Principal
