Stunt Night Rules

Sponsors may have auditions in the auditorium, but they will be responsible for blocking out the appropriate time in the black book. Sponsors and students may not rehearse in the auditorium except at the times designated on this sheet. On the nights when auditorium rehearsals are scheduled, classes will not be allowed to rehearse if a sponsor is not present. Classes may wok in their designated rooms with supervision when they are not on stage. However, when the rehearsals are finished, all participants must leave the building by 7:45 p.m. There will be no exceptions.

Violation of any rule will result in a loss of points from the classes final score. Individuals who violate school rules and/or Stunt Night rules will be disqualified from the competition

Stunts will be presented in lass order, 9th through 12th, with a 20-minute intermission following the 10th grade stunt. The Junior class will have "first dips" to sell concessions on Thursday and Saturday nights. Stunt Night casts, crew, and sponsors are not permitted upstairs or in the audience during either performance, on penalty of being disqualified. Other class members and parents must handle concessions. Likewise, only cast, crew and sponsors are allowed into the dressing rooms before, during, and after stunts. If there is some sort of emergency and you must contact someone upstairs, find a crew member with a headset and it will be taken care of you.

There will be three outside judges who will evaluate each stunt using the attached point system. The first place winner will take possession of the coveted Stunt Night Trophy during 2014, and will return it for Stunt Night 2015. The judges will also select a best actor or actress from each class.

Dressing rooms are located on the ground floor of the main building. Remember that Stunt Night participants and sponsors are responsible for leaving the rooms in good condition for classes the next day.

The Stunt Night coordinators will select the stage manager(s), light and sound crew, and Mistress and Master of Ceremonies. Each class is responsible for selecting six crew members who will set and strike the stage for the class stunt.
